Judy’s Corner

Ah! September! My favorite time of the year when the humidity drops and the temperatures cool down. I like those days when the mornings are so cool I need to wear a sweater and by afternoon I have to carry it home.

I also like Autumn foods. Crisp, fresh apples and grapes and everything Pumpkin Spice flavored. I have always thought of cool rainy days as soup weather, and baking a loaf of bread makes the house smell so good. I don’t bake in the Summer because it is too hot, but baking in the fall makes the house feel cozy.

The fall colors of the changing leaves and the brightly colored mums and pumpkins are my favorite colors.

I am thankful to God for giving us the changing seasons to delight in. We can appreciate the unique beauty of each season and be happy with the simple things God has given us to enjoy.

“Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.'” Hebrews 13:5
