Missions Update: 

Urgent Prayer Request from Jim & Heidi:

Pray for Heidi.

They said she has three options:

  1. Do nothing and continue to live with the pain
  2. Have surgery
  3. Have therapy at $5,500.00 insurance won’t cover.

Stan & Ruth Templeton:

Ruth and I are set to travel to the U.S. on August 12. You can pray for our safety in travel. Not only for that day, but also for our travel to several states.

Tim & Barb Vermilyea

  1. Sunday the end of the service at Credo Church, our pastor, Michael Leroux, read his resignation letter. Pray for God’s direction for Michael and Marie and their four children. Pray for Credo Church. Pray that God will help us to know how best to serve the church family.
  2. Pray for the board of directors for International Student Ministries of Canada (ISMC). Tim has been asked to temporarily chair the board. The board continues to deliberate over a very complicated internal issue.Pray for ISMC. Pray for Tim to have wisdom as he leads board discussions. Pray that God will lead to solutions that will help propel the ministry forward. Pray for peace among the board members.
  3. Our son, Matt, is going to begin pursuing a new direction that means going back to school (part-time) and finding a part-time job. He is looking to become a chaplain (marketplace chaplaincy). Pray as he begins studying (first time back in the classroom in 20 years). Pray that he will find part-time employment that meets financial needs and fits in with the rest of the family’s schedules. Pray that Matt will be blessed and be a blessing.
